it's been really long since i last posted nything in here!!!
it's been so long tht i had a tough time remembering my username, though i did remember the password!!!! i even thought of starting a new blog!!! wouldn't make ny difference!!! dont think nyone's ever gonna read whtevr rubbish i post down here!!!!
lots happened since then....most of it is very depressing!!!!
although there's been the occasional good news as well!!!

will b outta here (i mean the college) in a few months!!!!
have been really lucky when it comes 2 frnds!!! have found sm gr8 guys!!! both in school nd college!!!they haven't always agreed with whtevr i said!!! they even cracked jokes abt wht i felt!!! but they've been kind enuf 2've heard me out!!!

sat 4 Mock-7!!!!thoroughly screwed it up!!!!! 30 days 2 go 4 the real CAT nd i manage 2 goof-up big time!!which makes a serious dent in my confidence!!!

dunno if i'll manage 2 pull it off???????

the first game's over!!!!
nd the world XI was comprehensively beaten!!

it's only the first game nd already ppl've started pointing fingers!!
one newspaper felt tht none of the players gelled 2gether nd so u couldn't spot a single threatening partnership (both in the batting or the bowling deptts.)!!

the show tht they put up yesterday was really disappointing!! but isnt it a li'l 2 early 2 write 'em off!!!! mayb not!!!

howevr, as i wrote earlier, this series might turn out 2 b a no-contest which'ld b a real disappointment after the highly engrossing ashes!!!

lets hope the World XI does a better job in the nxt game!!!!

but inspite of whtevr one might say, the team's a formidable one!!!
i dont think this aussie side's evr been up against better opposition!!!!

but the problem with these high-profile events is tht they often turn out 2 b disappointingly one-sided!!! i hope tht doesn't happen this time!!!

nd being an indian, i do hope tht dravid d sehwag turn out 2 b the star performers 4 the world XI !!!!

Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara

i usually dont make 2 different posts on the same day!! but i just happened 2 notice wht the date was nd it reminded me of 2nd october which in turn reminded me of this article on Gandhi tht i came across in HT or TOI a couple of days back!!!

it made a very good suggestion tht mayb the fact tht our political establishment tried potraying Gandhi as a God which ppl naturally question, leading 2 a situation where ppl talk derisively abt n individual whose contribution 2 indian nd international history cannot b questioned (though tht's precisely wht's happening 2day)

the solution 2 this situation offered by the guy who wrote this article was 2 portray Gandhi as more of a human( a very important one without a doubt) rather than trying 2 idolize him!!!!!
nd 2 begin with, mayb we should'nt have a national holiday on his b'day!!!(i know a lot of ppl'ld kill me 4 suggestin this!!!)

the novel reminded me of da Vinci Code , fast-paced, exciting 4 most part, but a disappointing end!!

i also read 5 Point Someone!!!!!
now Dan Brown might b an international best-seller, but very frankly speaking, i liked the other one better!!!!! mayb b'coz i'm also n engineer nd the novel did remind me a lot of the last 3 years tht i spent in the hostel!!!!(but i was 4tunate b'coz i was nevr asked by a senior 2 take tht coke bottle up "u know where"!!!!)
